Required Gear to Fly This Drone

Goggles Needed

To fly the Explorer LR 4 HD DJI O4 Pro Micro, the pilot must use DJI Goggles that support the O4 video system:

These goggles include the built-in O4 receiver required to link with the DJI O4 Pro Air Unit installed on the Explorer LR 4.

Note: Older goggles that only support DJI O3, O2, or analog (like DJI FPV Goggles V1/V2) are not compatible.

Radio Controller Needed

The Explorer LR 4 HD DJI O4 Pro Micro in this bundle is supplied in the PNP (Plug-and-Play) configuration.

Out of the box, it is designed to bind only with the DJI RC 2 or DJI RC Motion 3 controllers, as it utilizes the internal DJI O4 Pro digital link.

If you wish to use an external radio system (such as ExpressLRS or Crossfire), you will need to purchase, solder, and install a compatible external receiver yourself, and then configure it within Betaflight.
